The hard drive was very simple, nothing extra fancy. Compatible with Mac was my main concern and it was hard to find out if it was. Small, portable but the external measurements are different than I found online. Overall very good product.

I received this disk drive 2 days ago via USPS. The box was somewhat damaged and the interior packing was inadequate. Maybe it was because I elected the free delivery option. The drive inside the internal Cirago box had become unsecured and was able to move around. Looks like the USPS did not handle this package with care and I was concerned about any abuse the drive might have suffered in transit. It powered-up without error and was pre-formatted with one FAT32 filesystem. It was recognized by various linux and Windows XP. I created 7 partitions of NTFS, FAT32, and ext3 filesystems. I used Clonezilla and Partimage to perform multiple partition backups. It has only been 2 days but so far so good. It does what it is supposed to do. I like that it has an on/off switch. The USB cable was short and pretty cheesy so I swapped it with one I had.
