This lamp is very beautiful and it does only take one of them to light up an entire room, however, for the amount I paid I was expecting something with a heavier, sturdier base. I have a young daughter that likes to push lamps over and break them and I was hoping this would be too heavy for her to accomplish that. That being said, in all other aspects this is a very good looking lamp and does its job well - just be wary if you are going to have little ones around it!

This lamp looks great in my living room! Very classy, not at all cheap looking. One thing though, there are little plastic sleeves on the interior of the tubes that make it impossible to assemble without removing them! The instructions make no mention of there existence, so I had to act on a hunch that I was doing the right thing! Thinking of buying another for the other side of the room.

I bought this floor lamp to add light to my living room. It has done just that. Its very stylish and coordinates with rest of the room well. I love the button which rests on the floor to turn it on/off. The only reason I gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I have a carpeted floor that causes the lamp to lean a little and I have to readjust it every so often. Also, I thought it had a dimmer but it does not.
